How to Raise Children

A cheat’s guide to independent parenting

Ah, cheeky little angels.

The best advice I ever heard for raising children was to put them to bed wearing clothes, so you don’t have to dress them in the morning.

Makes sense.

The truth is if you’re doing it alone, you will always feel like there are a thousand chores yet to do.

Get used to it.

But half of them don’t matter. Cleaning the hallway walls and getting rid of cobwebs really don’t matter, they do, but not really.

They don’t deserve the same ‘emergency’ sense you give them.

I have a procrastination list. On this, I put the stuff I haven’t been able to get to and then I do one day doing them all.

But this is about parenting, not house cleaning.

Parenting is easy-peasy.

Cuddles.

Compliments.

Boundaries.

Laughter.

Love.
